GENUINE MOBILE CNC DIAMOND CUTTING

This isn’t a painted imitation of a diamond cut finish.

For suitable diamond cut wheels, we use a specialist CNC lathe in our mobile workshop to machine the face of the wheel and recreate its distinctive bright, two-tone finish.

This means you can have genuine diamond cut refurbishment carried out at your home or workplace without taking your car to a workshop.

Who This Is For

Our Mobile Alloy Wheel Refurbishment service is for you if:

It’s also a convenient option for trade customers who need professional wheel refurbishment with reliable service and clear communication.

What Happens to Your Wheels?

With our mobile alloy wheel refurbishment service, we come to your home or workplace and carry out the refurbishment there.

You don’t need to take your car to a workshop or arrange to leave it with us. Where your wheels are suitable for mobile refurbishment, we bring the equipment needed to repair and refinish them to you.

For diamond cut wheels, this is what happens.

01

Wheel Removal & Inspection

We start by checking the condition of your wheels and making sure they’re suitable for mobile refurbishment.

The wheel is then removed from your vehicle, cleaned and prepared ready for the refurbishment process.

02

Inlay Damage Repair

Any damage within the painted areas of the wheel is repaired and smoothed ready for refinishing.

On diamond cut wheels, damage to the machined face is removed later during the CNC diamond cutting stage rather than being manually repaired beforehand.

03

Masking & Preparation

The wheel and tyre are carefully prepared and masked to protect the areas that aren’t being refinished.

This allows us to apply the new finish accurately while keeping the tyre protected throughout the process.

04

Primer & Base Colour

Primer and the appropriate base colour are applied to the prepared areas of the wheel.

This restores the painted sections and prepares the wheel for its finished appearance.

05

Diamond Cutting (If Required)

If your wheels are diamond cut, the wheel is secured onto the specialist CNC lathe in our mobile workshop.

The wheel is checked and its profile is scanned before the machine carefully removes a very fine layer from the front face.
This removes damage from the machined face and recreates the distinctive bright diamond cut finish.

For standard painted wheels, this stage isn’t required.

06

Protective Lacquer & UV Curing

A clear lacquer is applied over the finished wheel to seal the surface and help protect it against corrosion and everyday wear.

The lacquer is then cured using our UV lamp before the wheel receives its final checks.

07

Tyre Inflation & Dressing

The tyre is inflated to the correct pressure and dressed ready for the wheel to go back onto the vehicle.

The wheel is then polished and checked to make sure we’re happy with the finished result.

08

Wheel Refitting

The finished wheel is refitted to your vehicle and the wheel nuts are tightened to the correct torque setting.

The wheel nuts are then tightened to the correct torque setting.

09

The Result

Your wheels are refurbished at your home or workplace without you needing to take your car to a workshop.

Whether they’re standard painted or diamond cut alloys, you get a professional cosmetic refurbishment carried out using DCA’s specialist mobile equipment.

Excellent service and communication throughout. Brian is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, absolute top bloke. My BMW wheels were all curbed so needed a good refurb in factory BMW orbit grey. Brian has every factory colour going so finding a match was easy. He carried out a professional refurb on the wheels which takes 2 full days to complete, not the quick same day or 24hr turnaround offered by other wheel refurbers in Tamworth. The car was also safely secured during the few days he had it. Really happy with the wheels, they look like they’ve just come out the BMW factory. I’ve used a few wheel refurbishment companies in Tamworth over the years but these are definitely the best, I won’t use anyone else in future. Thanks Brian 👍🏼

friendly and personable guys, repaired/refinished man hole cover damage to one of my alloys...ended up having them all done! Gave advice on the finish - a bright silver that really popped - and did a spot on job at a great price 10/10 👏

Absolutely over the moon with the refurb Bryan at DCA did on my OEM 437M wheels. From start to finish the service was spot on. Very friendly guy, excellent workmanship, great comms throughout and you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work. I went for the ferric grey and diamond cut finish and the wheels have come out looking absolutely stunning — better than I expected. The finish is clean, consistent and OEM+ quality. Bryan also took the time to explain the process properly and kept me updated throughout, which gave me a lot of confidence after previous bad experiences elsewhere. Turnaround was quick, attention to detail was excellent and the overall experience was professional from start to finish. Highly recommend DCA if you want your wheels done properly by someone who takes pride in their work.

I couldn’t be happier with the transformation that Bryan has achieved with my Audi A7 wheels. They were 11 years old, curb rashed, paint peeling and generally looking very sad. Now they’re absolutely mint plus the colour transition from standard grey to satin black makes them pop - just gotta get some new black centre caps to match now. I’m really happy with them, massive thanks to DCA Refinishing Ltd for a grand job 👍👍

FAQs

What's the difference between mobile refurbishment and powder coating?

Our mobile service is designed for suitable cosmetic wheel repairs and uses a professional painting and lacquering process at your home or workplace. Powder coating is a different process carried out at our workshop and involves stripping and recoating the wheel. We’ll recommend the most suitable service based on the condition of your wheels and the finish you want.

Yes. For suitable diamond cut wheels, we use specialist CNC equipment in our mobile workshop to machine the face of the wheel. This recreates the genuine diamond cut finish rather than simply painting the face silver.

Same-day service is possible on some jobs. Timing depends on wheel condition and what’s needed. We’ll confirm once we’ve seen photos.

We use high-quality materials and a professional preparation, painting and lacquering process designed to produce a durable finish. How long the finish lasts will also depend on how the wheels are used, cleaned and maintained.

Many types of kerb damage can be repaired with our mobile service, but it depends on the depth and location of the damage. Send us a photo and we’ll let you know whether mobile refurbishment is suitable or whether the wheel needs a different repair.

Invoice provided. Bank transfer, cash, debit and credit cards accepted.
