Our Same Day Service uses the same professional repair process as our Mobile Alloy Wheel Refurbishment service, but the work is carried out at our Tamworth workshop.
The exact process depends on whether your wheels are painted or diamond cut. If diamond cutting is required, the CNC machining stage is added before the protective lacquer is applied.
We start by checking the condition of your wheels and making sure they’re suitable for our Same Day Service.
The wheel is removed from your vehicle, cleaned and prepared ready for refurbishment. The tyre and valve are protected so we can work on the wheel without removing the tyre completely.
Damage in the painted areas of the wheel is repaired and smoothed ready for refinishing.
On diamond cut wheels, damage to the machined face is removed during the CNC diamond cutting stage rather than being manually repaired beforehand.
The painted areas of the wheel are prepared and the appropriate primer and colour are applied.
This restores the painted sections before the wheel moves on to the next stage.
If your wheels are diamond cut, they’re placed onto our specialist CNC lathe.
The wheel is checked and its profile is scanned before the machine carefully removes a very fine layer from the front face. This removes damage from the machined face and recreates the distinctive bright diamond cut finish.
For standard painted wheels, this stage isn’t required.
Once the colour and, where required, diamond cutting are complete, a clear lacquer is applied over the finished wheel.
This seals the finish and helps protect the surface against corrosion and everyday wear.
The lacquer is then cured using our UV lamp before the wheel receives its final checks.
The tyre is inflated to the correct pressure and dressed before the wheel is refitted to your vehicle.
The wheel nuts are then tightened to the correct torque setting.

Whether they’re standard painted or diamond cut alloys, the aim is simple: repair the cosmetic damage, restore their appearance and get you back on the road the same day.

Excellent service and communication throughout. Brian is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, absolute top bloke. My BMW wheels were all curbed so needed a good refurb in factory BMW orbit grey. Brian has every factory colour going so finding a match was easy. He carried out a professional refurb on the wheels which takes 2 full days to complete, not the quick same day or 24hr turnaround offered by other wheel refurbers in Tamworth. The car was also safely secured during the few days he had it. Really happy with the wheels, they look like they’ve just come out the BMW factory. Absolutely over the moon with the refurb Bryan at DCA did on my OEM 437M wheels. From start to finish the service was spot on. Very friendly guy, excellent workmanship, great comms throughout and you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work. I went for the ferric grey and diamond cut finish and the wheels have come out looking absolutely stunning — better than I expected. The finish is clean, consistent and OEM+ quality. Bryan also took the time to explain the process properly and kept me updated throughout, which gave me a lot of confidence after previous bad experiences elsewhere. Turnaround was quick, attention to detail was excellent and the overall experience was professional from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with the transformation that Bryan has achieved with my Audi A7 wheels. They were 11 years old, curb rashed, paint peeling and generally looking very sad. Now they’re absolutely mint plus the colour transition from standard grey to satin black makes them pop - just gotta get some new black centre caps to match now. Our Same Day Service uses a wet paint and lacquer process that allows suitable wheels to be refurbished and returned to you the same day. Powder coating is a different workshop process that involves stripping the wheel and applying powder coatings that are cured under heat. We’ll recommend the most suitable option based on the condition of your wheels, the finish you want and your required turnaround.
For suitable wheels booked onto our Same Day Service, you drop your car off at our Tamworth workshop in the morning and collect it later the same day. We’ll confirm the arrangements when you book.
We use high-quality materials and a professional preparation, painting and lacquering process designed to produce a durable finish. How long the finish lasts will also depend on how the wheels are used, cleaned and maintained.
Many types of kerb damage can be repaired, but it depends on the depth and location of the damage. Send us a photo or bring the wheel in and we’ll let you know whether it’s suitable for our Same Day Service or needs a different repair.
