Diamond cutting (also called diamond turning) is not polishing and it’s not paint. It’s precision machining. A thin layer of metal is skimmed from the wheel face on a CNC lathe to restore a bright aluminium finish and remove surface imperfections accurately.

How the service works:
The wheel is removed and the tyre is taken off. We inspect for buckles and cracks. If repairs are needed, we’ll confirm this before moving forward (additional charges apply for buckle or crack repairs).
The old finish is removed and the wheel is blasted back to bare metal, ready for a proper refurbishment.
The full wheel is powder coated in the chosen base colour (often black, grey, or silver) and oven cured. This creates the background colour for the pockets and inner areas.
The wheel is mounted and centred accurately on the machine. This matters for a clean cut and correct wheel profile.
A diamond-tipped tool skims the wheel face to reveal clean bare aluminium and the fine circular lines that create the diamond cut look.
All machining dust is removed and the surface is fully cleaned before clear coating.
A clear coat is applied and cured to seal the exposed aluminium and help protect against oxidation and corrosion.
The tyre is refitted, the wheel is balanced, then refitted to the vehicle and torqued to manufacturer guidelines.

Not always. Wheels can only be cut a limited number of times. It depends on wheel condition and previous refurb history. We’ll confirm what’s realistic before starting.
Because the face is bare aluminium under the lacquer. If the lacquer is damaged, moisture can get in and cause white marks and peeling. That’s why sealing and care matter.
